In this image, I used five elements to compose in my final result, the elements are, layer, definition, vibrance, highlight and centre light.

Layer- with a layer of 50, it creates more deep detailing of the image. In this case, the ground and the meerkats. This element brings out the dark colours of the picture and changes it to a whole new feeling. As seen at the top, the ground is light coloured and at the second one, it is grey but it's still bright.

Definition- with a definition of 50, this creates the image more refined to its defined shapes and small details. This element brings out a new approach towards the quality of the camera. It changes the image from soft into a more clear shot.

Vibrance- with a vibrance of -100, this brings out the image's bright colour. Because the images is almost black and white due to layering, it is understandable for it to have a bright part, the meerkats. This also brings out the natural colours of the animals as they also stands out from the grey background.

Highlight- with a highlight of -50, it creates the same result as layering as it adds more darker and lighter shades. It helped create a mood that the subject are in and blends in to the whole image well.

Centre light- with a centre light of 100, this tend to grab the viewers attention. In this image, the centre light is where the meerkats are which is the center of attention. This element acts as a guide to lead to the object by using a light.

Overall, the difference between the original image and the edited image is the whole concept. The edited one creates more impact as a whole to the viewers because it grabs their attention the focal point which is the meerkats. And by using all the five elements, layer, definition, vibrane, highlight, and center light, it deliveres more attention and creates a purpose.

After

In this image, I used four elements to create the final result, the elements are, layer, definition, vibrance and saturation.

Layer- with a layer of -100, it creates a smooth and lighter colour towards the dark parts of the image. As seen at the original image, the colours are more rough and dark. Using this element, it brings out the smoothness of the clouds and the waves and rocks itself.

Definition- with a definition of 50, it balanced out the refined detailing of the whole image. By this element, the image became more clerer and creates more of a high quality shot compare to the original image.

Vibrance- with a vinrance of 50, it tones out the colour of the ocean itself and the rocks. Using this element, it made the image more lighter and colourful.

Saturation- with a sturation of 100, it finalises the brightness of each of the subjects, the hill, water, clouds and the rocks. This brings out the true colours of the environment with added a little bright. By this element, it chages the mood of the whole image, from dark and sad to bright and happy.

Overall, the difference between the original and the edited brings a whole new mood and feeling in the image. The original image have the concept of cold, sad and dark while the the edited have changes that to a whole new environment, sunny, happy and bright. And these are all because of used of four elements, layer, definition, vibrance and saturation.
